How to Prepare for a BQH Session

Before Your Session

It is up to you to decide how much you want to do to prepare for our session. In truth the most important and only requirement is to trust the process, and yourself and show upBut, many of you benefit greatly by learning to quiet the mind and by doing some practical things like practicing.

  • Create your intention
Being clear on why you are called to have a BQH session helps your Higher Self to know what will be revealed to you. Ask yourself: What do you truly want to get from this session? And setting the intention to have an amazing session will help to bring forward the important information and appropriate healing you need. Your Higher Self starts working to prepare you spiritually and mentally once you have booked your session.

  • Daily affirmation to connect to your Higher Self
From the moment you decided to book your session, it's very important to begin to connect with that part of you, your highest aspect, your absolute PURE SELF  - your Higher Self. You will want to start having a clear and direct communication with the part of you that holds your deep truths and can bring forward that information and healing for you. This is very helpful for people who consider themselves more left-brained or have anxiety and any misplaced beliefs they won't be able to be hypnotized.  Saying this affirmation daily and believing this, will help you to better connect to that highest aspect of you.  Start saying to yourself or aloud daily:

“I have clear and direct communication with my Higher Self."

Note the tense of this sentence, it’s not “I will have,” it's “I have.” You can then repeat this intention silently or out loud throughout your day and most importantly, right before you go to sleep at night. Put a note on your bathroom mirror to remind you to focus upon your intention as you brush your teeth and prepare for bed.

  • Prepare your list of questions
Prepare your list of 5-12 questions you want to ask your Higher Self/Guides/Light Team.  You can email them to me before the session or bring them in on the day of for in-person. For in-person, please print out your questions so they are clear for me to read (if you have not emailed to them me already). For online sessions, please email them to me prior to the session.

  • Complete the intake/agreement form
After I receive your client intake/agreement form, I will email you an information packet to prepare you for your session.

  • Learn to quiet the mind
Once you have booked a session, it's a good practice to start to learn to quiet the mind if possible. If you've never meditated before, this is the opportunity to start and I would recommend at least 5-10 minutes in your day to meditate. It's not a requirement, but meditation can help you start to relax the mind chatter and create the bridge towards intentionally connecting with your Higher Self. Breathwork, yoga, journaling, creating art, qigong, etc., are other relaxing mindfulness practices that allows you stay present and focused to help quiet the mind. Really, anything that will help you quiet your mind for a moment will be helpful. Having a relaxed and calm mind days before the session is nothing but positive to help you.

  • Practice visualization and exercising your imagination
Your Higher Self uses your imagination as a language to speak to you. Practicing using your right side of the brain to activate imagery of your imagination is a good way to prepare and strengthen that connection. No need to stress too much on this. Daydreaming is visualization and most of us have done that. Simple exercises like visualizing what your room/home/space looks like, what your car looks like outside and then inside, what your environment looks like, a memorable day, yourself eating a meal, etc. Those are ways to stimulate that right side of the brain. Pay attention to any smells, sounds, feelings and emotions that may show up as well.

  • Pay attention to your dreams
Start noticing your dreams after booking your session. Try to write them down or note them if anything comes up as these may be messages for you from your Higher Self/Subconscious.

  • Get a good night's sleep
Prioritize getting how many hours of sleep you require the night before so that you wake up feeling refreshed.

  • Drink plenty of water
Water is consciousness. Water has memory and is the ultimate receiver and carrier of information. Make sure to drink plenty of water leading up to your session and on the day of, to assist in opening up more of the communication between you and your Higher Self.

The Day of Your Session

  • Reduce or eliminate your caffeine intake
Avoid drinking caffeinated beverages and eating caffeinated foods before the session, or even, the evening before, if possible. This will allow you to go into a deeper state of relaxation. If you are a regular morning coffee drinker, please don’t skip your coffee, but go easy and keep it to a minimum before your session.

  • Eat a light and healthy meal prior to your session
A BQH session is approximately 3-5 hours so make sure to eat a light and healthy meal prior to your session. You can also brings snacks for in-person sessions. Avoid eating a heavy meal before because too much food in your stomach can keep you from fully relaxing as your body spends time digesting the heavy meal.

  • No alcohol/recreational drugs
Refrain from drinking alcohol or taking recreational drugs the day before the session and on the day of a session. You want a clear mind and free from any substances that can alter your state.

Note: Of course, please continue to take any prescribed medication as prescribed by your physician to assist any health conditions.

  • Light exercise prior to your session
Like a long walk, is an excellent way to prepare for a successful session. We want your body relaxed, but your mind quiet and alert and engaged.

  • Dress comfortably
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and nothing too restrictive since you may be lying down for a couple of hours. You are welcome to bring an eye mask if you feel that will help you relax.

  • Bring water and snacks
Bring these with you to have when needed and to help with grounding after the session is done.

  • Clear your day as much as possible
As much as possible, clear your day for the session. We begin by talking, going over the process and your questions. Then you get comfortable and relaxed and we begin the actual hypnotic “regression.” Afterwards, we go over what was experienced, and I will make sure you are awake and grounded for the rest of your day.

  • Take it easy afterwards
It is generally not a good idea to have additional appointments or have over-stimulating activities that simply require much from you after deep quantum healing work. You should take it easy. Having a BQH session is very much like participating in a long, very detailed and involved daydream. You really will feel as if you have just returned from an amazing journey, having visited other worlds and lifetimes, and in fact, you will have done just exactly that. It is best to have some time to process your experience and give yourself an opportunity to fully return to your regular conscious day-to-day reality before attempting any complex mental tasks or strenuous physical activity.

  • Leave expectations behind
Everyone's session is unique to them. Release all expectations and worries about how your experience will be. Any expectations and attachment to a specific outcome are not at all helpful. Being willing to let go of control will help you get into that deeply trancelike state where all the possibilities and magic happens. The human mind naturally needs control and needs to know the details, but trust in the divine timing of your session that whatever your Higher Self brings forward will be exactly what you need to know and understand in your present journey. Try not to overthink and instead, trust in yourself and in your journey. Show up with an open heart and open mind to receive the expansion and gifts of this beautiful experience.

  • Please note: If you suspect or have been diagnosed with conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or similar conditions, a BQH session is not recommended for you. Please seek medical advice from your physician or psychiatrist.

Technical Equipment Set Up

  • Make sure your computer/laptop/tablet is plugged in during the session

  • For the hypnosis session, set up your device positioned higher than your head and angled in a way that I can see your face, both of your eyes and your upper body. You can prop it up with books or anything you have available to elevate it enough to capture the set up position. Some do put it on the bed but, a separate bit of furniture or separate set-up would be a better choice because during the session any body movements may knock over or move the screen making it harder to see the client.
